Proving that one has power is not the key to making a difference but a way to stop others from challenging that individual. People who truly have power seek to use their strengths not to their own personal limits but to the benefit of others and not to instill fear in those who question them.

A character in a story should represent something important to their fans. In stories an individual that’s relatable and evokes a strong emotion from the audience is a good character despite being a person who is “good” or “evil”. A character whose distinct personality is well known has a name that precedes. A character who has great influence over others and knows how and when to act is a leader. A character whose personality, actions, and beliefs transcend themselves and come to represent something bigger then themselves becomes a symbol. A character that lives on in other characters despite their absence has a legacy. A character whose legacy remains relevant despite the wear of time and the turbulence of change is a legend.

The beauty of nostalgia is not the longing to relive the olden days, but the realization that it is something we can look back and treasure because at the time we didn’t realize how precious and powerful that moment truly was.

A true friend is someone who is able to look past your minor flaws and get past petty differences. They are able to like you for who you truly are, not the “perfect” individual society expects you to be.
